As a manufacturer of products for leading regional and national
restaurants chains Haliburton is on top of flavor trends; what’s
popular and coming on strong. Being the producer of both the
vegetables and sauces allows us to custom manufacture products
for both our retail and foodservice customers. The fresh, bright
flavors that are available to restaurants are now possible in the
freezer case for your customers.
Our product offerings
are unique.
We are the primary processor of the vegetables, receiving
fresh produce and processing it daily using our proprietary high
temperature roasting process followed by flash freezing. This
enables us to create exactly the cuts and blends that customers
want. With our products you get the crispness and flavor that
consumers have wanted all along. Our capabilities include not
only roasted vegetable blends, but rice/pasta dishes and meals
with restaurant quality grilled shrimp. Finally, our packaging
flexibility allows us to produce running pillows, gusseted pillows,
block bottom and true 4 corner, center seal Quattro Pak
bags. We can offer bags ranging in size from 4 oz single serve
microwave steam pouches up to a 5 pound value pack.
Food safety is becoming
much more of a priority.
We’ve invested in technology that’s truly going to be a game-changer
in the frozen vegetable industry. You’ll notice that many of our
products are certified “ready-to-eat,” a testament to the fact that
we’ve gone far beyond HACCP. To achieve this, all raw materials and
finished products undergo a series of chemical and microbiological
tests. We are using a DNA based testing system that assures
our products are free of Listeria, e-coli and salmonella. We’ve
installed state-of-the-art optical sorting that detects and eliminates
defects and foreign material and x-ray inspection system to check
and document every package that we manufacture. To enhance
traceability we’ve installed state-of-the-art printing equipment that
serializes every package that we manufacture and advance computer
software links an x-ray image to each serialized package along with
growers, harvest and field information. Our traceabilty standards go
way beyond current Federal regulations, and are in-fact based off of
the best European and Japanese standards.
